Starving bellies drived us to the ‘the most happening’ place, at least for a couple of teams in the firm. The customary unending over-hyped exaggerated gibberish talk of Ajith motivated the rest of the idiotic bunch to join the senseless discourse.
From the irksome revealings of Laxmi’s last night dreams of the cutest creature on earth she ever came across, the pet of her childhood neighbours, gossip drifted towards the assumed Culture prevalent in current Traditional Society, where the the customs have been put into action by the present-day (in)humans.
A radical switch to the talk on establised institution of marriage triggered interests from all the directions, where the primary base for it, enabling it to sustain in the longer run is The culture women have been adapting over ages and practising it diligently, inspite of being crushed by the male-dominated society.
Quoting a very trivial contemporary example, at least in our nation, where a lady is the de-facto leader of the country , adding to it, few other extremely ‘gentle-ladies’ ruling the states of Rajasthan, Bihar, Tamilnadu, Uttar-pradesh and the capital city Delhi, keeping aloof the gender supremacy at grass loot level.
Opinionated, Social Insecurity isn’t something that is making the fairer sex devoid of certain relations, rather sticking religiously to the customary traditional values that are engrossed as inseperable elements into their life.
Though initially unaccepted , Possesiveness followed by ‘only-if-you-care’ are the factors that butresses the kinship and bonds it together which leaves a little room for trust which develops and unfolds later in the relationship.
Deviatation from the focus, nevertheless a good one, Unanimously reached consensus was the bringing down of the divided society, in terms of a human-made calamity called caste, whose curse casted upon the mortals over centuries.
Bonding preceeded by contrasting mates on the basis of certain tangible parameters is a pragmatic approach curtailed the result-less debate making a sequel obligatory, incomplete.
Signing off,
Obfuscated.

The Big picture – Telangana Movement
Long queues ending up on theNH-9 for the past two days has become a common scene at Fuel stations and so is the case at ATM Centers. I was not really concerned about the people and the cause of this until I had to do the same, running from pillar to post to withdraw some green paper and to fuel my machine. Irked by the so called patriotic movement for separate statehood for Telangana. When I was a kid i remember my dad telling me about the Telangana movement in their times, when the schools were closed for an year or so in the pretext of movement. Discussion on the same stuff sometime back with my pals roused the curiosity in me to excavate the facts and myths of the need of a new state.
Retrospection on this reveals that the once opulent region of Telangana suffered a setback in the modern period especially under the draconian rule of the Nizams Politically, socially, culturally , financially, religiously and linguistically before the historic Operation solo that suppressed the Nizam rule and merged it based on the language spoken. In spite of being the largest region in terms of geographic occupation and monstrous quantum of revenue generated, , shoddier lifestyles of the people prevailed.
Dissenting with the suggestions of the report presented by the States Reorganization Commission in 1955, making the very purpose of appointing the committee futile, the then Prime minister of India, Jawaharlal Nehru, benefitted from the vantage point Congress party was placed, being in power at Center and State disregarded the SRC recommendations, leading to the formation of Andhra. However, to placate the fury of people in this region, they assured them with guaranteed justice in terms of political and financial parameters across the state, irrespective of clear cut regional demarcation through 1956 Gentleman’s Agreement.
Non-compliance to the promises made by the Congress Government as per the 1956 Gentleman’s agreement, angry voices raised from all corners of the people ,with students taking the most active participation, under the name of “Jai Telangana Movement” which had its shade of extreme violence with around the sacrifice of 360 student lives. Smeared by the tactics of the political parties, turned into a theme which can be one of the points in their agenda when required started by the few Congress leaders in 1970, later in 1990’s by the BJP with Congress resurfacing on to the picture in 2000. Finally a party in itself has emerged with a single point agenda for the separation of Telangana as a state lead by a former expelled TDP member who floated TRS. Since 2004, we are all aware of the coalitions formed by the TRS, by calculating all the possible permutations and combinations with every single major political party in the state, visibly with a single manifesto of getting into power of their choice decorated the so-called progress of agitation by few poli’tricks’ of mass resignations and by-elections. The most recent episode of KCR fasting unto death, which was rescheduled by him many times gradually garnering his proponents who isolated him vexed of the trade tricks played by him clearly is a shame on his part to juxtapose his protest with that of The Great Potti Sriramulu, who even till date is misunderstood by the people in Telangana as the one responsible for the merging of Telangana with Andhra to form the current state of Andhra Pradesh in 1956.
Lost in the time were the actual rationale for which the ‘real’ Telangana movement was initiated. The less developed economy of Telangana, in spite of being the people there being the highest tax payers, through liquor consumption. Unequal share of projects built over perennial rivers Krishna and Godavari whose origin is in Telangana and also loss of jobs of Telangana people to Andhra owing to their low literacy rate and migration of Andhraites to Telangana.
Definitely without a hint of doubt, administration and development of region in concern can be augmented if provided with status of statehood, but, looking into the undue advantage taken by almost all the regional and national parties which includes even nascent ones such as NTP, PRP and TTP some of which haven’t celebrated their 1st anniversary of formation, the whole struggle and movement turned into mere subject of gossip for everyone and a reason for few politicians to regain their charisma lost in the public over time. Luckily the counterpart of this struggle, insurgence by the natives of Darjeeling for ‘Gorkhaland’ though almost a century old has never become a pawn in the game played by the tainted politicians, at least not much as the Telangana one. It is high time people especially students realize, there are alternate ways of protesting and accomplishing things other than hurling stones at Malls and theatres, burning buses and immolating themselves which spirals into the state of null in terms of the outcome adding to the loss of valuable time and public property ultimately, relapse of the economic and political state of affairs . Anyone out there, listening ? Hopefully.
